I have been purchasing these for about 20 years. They are amazing. Bissinger's chocolate is excellent quality (have never had better). My husband buys these for my birthday, Valentines Day, anniversary, and Christmas. And I am always delighted to receive them. My 10 year old loves them. They make a great gift. THESE ARE GLUTEN FREE!!!!! The sucrose syrup is made from wheat starch but it is so highly processed that it is truly gluten free. Trust me I checked this out thoroughly. Plus Bissinger's is very knowledgeable about gluten free testing. The service is first class.



Also highly recommend their truffles, black sesame crunch, and Jordan almonds.

It was the most elegant looking dessert & took me no time at all to make. The cups were packaged very well & arrived in one piece. The large cups were fairly large more so than I expected. They fit almost a cup of mousse in them. I wish I would have ordered the small ones instead but will know for future reference. I would certainly order these again.

UPS just delivered this, and it was a melted mess. It's not a big circular box, as pictured, but a rather small, rectangular box (with perhaps half the chocolates as pictured - if wrappers count). And when we opened the box, what we found was a box of chocolate sauce. No individual piece survived. What a mess. ADDENDUM: I complained of this Saturday evening. By Monday afternoon they processed a full refund, including shipping fees. Guess it was just a fluke.

I first fell in love with the Leonidas chocolates while in Belgium and now I finally found them online. If I was in New York, you would probably find me at the Manon Café in the winter sipping hot chocolates. In the summer, I'd be at the Leonidas' store buying gourmet chocolates. After savoring chocolates in Europe, Africa and America - these are the best chocolates I have ever tasted.



The crunchy chocolate squares were a real surprise and I love how delicate the crunch is when encased in a burst of delicious chocolate.



You may also enjoy the Mint chocolates. They are delicious after dinner or anytime you want to wake up your taste buds. The mint flavor bursts from these chocolates as if it was encased in little sugar crystals. It is quite perfect and refreshing.



I also love the Cinnamon and Orange. If you have been dreaming of the most delicious orange flavored chocolates in the world, you have to try the Orange Napolitains. I love both equally, although the cinnamon flavor has me completely seduced.



I prefer to savor each piece of chocolate with a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate. The warmth of the beverage creates an entirely different experience than if you were to simply taste a square of chocolate on its own.

Most of the others are good or very good, but the differences are subtle. One bite of the Santander and you'll go "Wow! - it has an impossible-to-describe complex flavor totally unlike any of the others. I'm kind of surprised it's not better known.

This is without a doubt the best 70% chocolate I have ever tasted. Way above the so-called top brands, such as Valrhona, E. Guittard, Michel Cluizel, etc. The texture is smooth and creamy, and the taste is full of complexity - rich, but not overbearing. It has a nice espresso finish, but no bitterness, just a perfect blend. I not only eat this chocolate out of hand, but I also bake with it, and use it to make chocolate ice cream. You could not ask for better results. To summarize, this is a very unique, complex chocolate with a nice round taste, and tons of depth. Highly recommended.
